A collection of short stories about the Outback from the sixth short story competition for the Outback Writers Festival in Winton, Queensland. 

All proceeds from the anthology goes to the festival to help attract great Australian authors to Winton.

Sophie Lewis is frustrated with life and love after her fiancé cheated on her. She's even lost interest in baking fancy cupcakes for the kids at church, until the rainbow unicorn swirls bring such delight to the face of the new little girl Arabella. 
Widower Alex has moved to Charters Towers with his daughter to give Arabella a fresh start with her maternal grandparents. He isn't interested in love, but the beautiful Sophie Lewis and her absurd cupcakes help Alex realise that he cannot live like a hermit for the rest of his life.
